All softwares install via Ubuntu 10.04 offical repos.

My Apache HTTP config

    <Directory /var/www/redmine>

        AuthName "Redmine repository"
        AuthType Basic
        AuthUserFile /data/svn-auth.htpasswd
        Require valid-user

        RailsBaseURI /redmine
        PassengerResolveSymlinksInDocumentRoot on
    </Directory>

    checked  Enable HTTP Authentication
    Local user lookup mode,  checked email address
    checked Automatic registration

Hi,

with basic HTTP authentication, there is no way to log the user out, because the browser will send the username / password with every request.
