Creating an issue to log feedback on this page that can be turned into future improvements.

  • Guidance for first-time users with no channels open yet. The LSP spec (bLIP52) doesn't support bolt12 offers. Initial JIT receives can only be done with bolt11 invoices for now.

This does not seem related to human-readable addresses, but more of a general thing about setting up new users with initial liquidity. The first-use page has a mention of fees for their first channels here. Overall, I think the topic of communicating fees and liquidity could be revisited in the guide.

Won't there need to be some transition over to a human-readable name after all of that setup? I'm thinking this because the initial deposit will be using the bolt 11 invoice. Currently its behind an experimental setting in Phoenix wallet.

It will also be an issue for lightning wallets that use BOLT12 without human-readable addresses.
