New Business Development Newsletters Released

The Center for Economic & Business Development is proud to announce the latest installments in The Business Development Series and The Business Demographic Series:

Oklahoma Trade Pull Factors. This newsletter reports the trade pull factors of Oklahoma's seventy-seven counties and the trade pull factors of fifty Oklahoma communities. Trade pull factors relate a county's or city's ability to attract both resident and non-resident retail shoppers to its community through retail trade.

Location Quotient . This newsletter reports location quotient (LQ) information which is used to assess industry concentration. Local economists, regional developers, geographers, local governments, economic analysts and researchers can benefit from using these figures to identify exporting and importing industries.

SOIC Demographic: This newsletter report highlights the demographic profiles of counties included in Southwest Oklahoma Impact Coalition (SOIC). There are four sections in this report, which are comprised of Personal Income, Employment, and Farm Income; Demographic Characteristic; Economic Characteristic; and Social Characteristic.
