Following some recommendations from our ECTO manuscript, the route 'injection' is minimally informative as to how an organism was specifically exposed to a stimulus. Would it be of interest to others to consider more specific descriptions of routes that are typically related to injections? For example, intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular?
