  • I am an ELNer

Expected Behavior

When using lock, the equivalents should stay constant and the amounts of each reagent are adjusted upon changing the amount of the referenced starting material.

Current Behavior

The amounts of all reagents/solvent etc are deleted ("n.d.") upon changing the amount of the referenced starting material.

Steps to Reproduce

Please provide detailed steps for reproducing the issue.

It does not happen always and I don't know when or why this occurs from time to time.

Context

Please provide any relevant information about your setup. This is important in case the issue is not reproducible except for under certain conditions.

Hi @christine-charlotte-mueller & @JTS-ioc,

thanks for the feedback. Could you give us some more details (like which ELN version you are using?),

  1. for the current behavior: what happens to the equivalent values of reagents when it is on lock on the amount of the ref. material is changed? (is this part of the problem?).
  2. for now, when amount field (in ml/l) is changed, while equivalent lock is enabled and no density/molarity is defined for this reference material, the amount, mol, and equivalent fields of the reagents are changed to "nd", is this the error you meant?

@christine-charlotte-mueller

Hi,
It definitely was a problem in an old version. We have since received an update to version v1.10.5 and I could not recreate the error. It seems to be fixed.
Best wishes!

Hello @JTS-ioc

could you tell us the version of your ELN (if you navigate to the /about page ) ?
