There are situations in working with Final Cut Pro where I'd like the output volume to be turned down to 25% while I work but want normal volume for everything else, like a FaceTime/Zoom call in collaborating on an edit.
There are other circumstances where I'd like to turn up the output volume over (possibly significantly) the max volume of the device. Not being able to listening to very low volume scenes seems like, um, ancient. This is 2024. Thanks. listening to/for "usually" inaudible sounds may be necessary for some.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to see a volume control, knob, button into menu with slider, clickable circular progress bar. Maybe some presets or sticky "notches" for 25%, 50% 75%, 100%, 150%, 200%, ...
It would not be automated as that is not the point.
