Background

Windows Community Toolkit 8.2 is slated to release soon, with 8.2-preview2 already in flight.

Problem

We need a place to plan and track the road to releasing 8.2 stable, including the prerelease versions leading up to it.

Solution

For 8.2 package in the public NuGet feed, we've already shipped:

We currently plan to ship:

  • [v8.2.2502**-rc1]: The first 8.2 release candidate should ship in February, barring no surprises.
  • [v8.2.25*]: The stable release of 8.2 should release before the end of March, but possibly after the end of February.

We may need to ship:

  • [v8.2.2502**-rc2] or [v8.2.2502**-rc3] if we encounter any surprises that warrant further RC testing.
