Description

The FirebaseUI currently lacks support for biometric authentication. Adding this feature will enhance security and provide a modern login experience.

Steps to Implement

  1. Integrate biometric authentication APIs (e.g., WebAuthn).
  2. Add a configuration option to enable or disable biometric authentication.
  3. Update the login flow to include biometric verification.
  4. Test the feature on devices with biometric capabilities.

Expected Outcome

Users can log in securely using fingerprint or facial recognition.
