[Solved]Prevent text Autofill

Hello,

I'm experiencing an autofill issue, while I'm trying to submit an Input HTML tab. Googling I think is overcoming. Are there any option settings, in order to solve this issue?

You could try setting the autocomplete attribute on the input tag to off. This doesn't sound like it's an issue with the picker itself.

Thanks, Eonasdan, although, the autocomplete="off" is already set in my form. I've noticed that using the demos to https://getdatepicker.com/4/#min-view-mode, its behavior is the same, while if I blur the input field.

Could you get me some tips to solve this common issue?
Do you think that in the new V6 it's going to be solving?

Oh! I see what's happening. Sorry, I didn't realize what your issue was until now. I think this is because momentjs is attempting to parse the date provided. Moment seems to think the best thing to do with 01/ is to convert it to 01/2021. There's two things you could look at;

• For sure the easiest is to use the option useStrict this will force moment to use this option and won't try to guess. This however might cause problems for you if you want to allow looser inputs in some form
• The more complicated option is to provide a function that checks the user input and decide what to do with it by using parseinputdate

@effedetto I'm just curious, but what exactly would be the behavior you expect with the input value "01/" and after the component loses focus?
Because without knowing your prerequisites, I honestly think the current behavior is generally very good and user friendly for a datetime picker.

Hello @Lukkian, to more in-depth. In a datepicker ( Month and Year Only ) if I input the '01/' only I expect that the validation of the component ( that I have already dev by Js and Html5 ). The actual behavior is that if I insert '01' and press Enter wrongly, the Input form goes through. The same behavior when I blur the input datepicker and erroneously press Enter.

Hello @Lukkian after few busy days, today I returned to this issue. This is my solution, according to the @Eonasdan Hint. https://jsfiddle.net/effedetto/6btn0arm/5/
I used the var parseInputDate to apply the regex pattern to match the input and prevent accidental Submits.
