There were apparently some minor issues at the infodesk with more laptops getting used for presentations than planned.

It might make sense to have presenter laptops at at least the main tracks, and one spare kept by the per building team.

We have enough of x230's for FOSDEM 2018.

Still todo:

  • Rather large black edges on the video boxes output, both horizontally and vertically. Need to investigate.
  • Image these with Debian stretch, potentially with fixes to remedy the black edges.

We have 5 more x240's available for FOSDEM 2019. Check with Sebastian. He's imaging the desktops and Koert (infodesk). Five x240's available for video should be plenty: lightning talks & spares.

Please elaborate. Do you mean the video team requires 5 infodesk-style imaged laptops? Let's chat about this tomorrow, that's more efficient ;-)

Not an issue separately. We have plenty and the per building team will have spare presenter laptops for emergency cases.
