How to add a new color to the default theme?

Is it possible to add a new color to the default theme and generate the auto complete to this type/color? I mean, not only override the colors that already exists but add a new one. For example:

export const THEME = extendTheme({
  colors: {
    primary: {
      ...
    },
    secondary: {
      ...
    },
    MYCOLOR: {
      100: "#XXXXX1",
      200: "#XXXXX2",
