How to group/aggregate/summarize entries by project in summary

I have multiple entries during the day.
At the end of the day I want to see summary where time entries are grouped by project. Currently, I see only the list of all entries which makes impossible to see how much time was spent aggregated by project.

My entries are from taskwarrior, so Tags column has 'project_name, task_name' format thanks to this helpful hook.

I assume you are referring to timew summary here?

At the end of the day I want to see summary where time entries are grouped by project.

Maybe the totals extension is something you can try here. It gives you the time aggregated per tag, so if your intervals each have a project tag, you should see the total per project then.

If it is not sufficient, there is also the option of writing a custom extension.

Depending on your installation package, it should be located under /usr/local/share/doc/timew/ext.
Alternatively, you can download it from this repository here
