This idea came to me yesterday, and I think it's got legs.

Usually in our typical game of Worms Armageddon we tend to have one or two players who are massively winning, and other teams on a knife edge. This usually results in the weaker players forming a makeshift alliance to take down the other players.

We could be creative here and track which players are doing well, and the weaker players might be offered the one-time chance of allying up which will grant them:

  • Bonus damage against teams with more health.

but perhaps comes with a disadvantage like:

  • Death pact: If the allied player kills a player who they share an allegiance with, they also take damage.
