Any way to configure the extension to ignore a .git folder (and dot folders generally)? #137

Hey!

Really nice extension!

As an additional way of being able to use my scaffolds across different devices, I've decided to make the directory housing my folder templates a Github repository.

The only issue I've encountered is the predictable one by which the extension thinks that the .git folder is a folder template!

Is there any way to configure the extension to ignore the Git directory when globing through the template folder?

TIA!

Hi @danielrosehill ,

currently there's no way to exclude folders from being recognized as templates if they are a direct child of the .fttemplates directory.

I will take a look at this when I find the time. I cannot give an time estimate as I have tons of things to do outside of this project unfortunately.

I'd be thankful for a PR if you want to take a look at this yourself.
