Terraform CLI and Terraform IBM Provider Version

Affected Resource(s)

  • ibm_container_vpc_cluster

Terraform Configuration Files

Please include all Terraform configurations required to reproduce the bug. Bug reports without a functional reproduction may be closed without investigation.

Code:

resource "ibm_container_vpc_cluster" "cluster" {
  name                                = var.cluster_name
  ...
  worker_count                        = 2
  ....
}
  1. terraform apply
  2. Change worker count in configuration - for instance to 3 or to 0 (changing to 0 requires to have at least 2 nodes in other pools)
  3. terraform apply -> no change

Debug Output

Result:

No changes. Your infrastructure matches the configuration.

Terraform has compared your real infrastructure against your configuration and found no differences, so no changes are needed.

Apply complete! Resources: 0 added, 0 changed, 0 destroyed.

Expected: resize the default worker pool

Panic Output

Expected Behavior

Expected: resize the default worker pool

Actual Behavior

Change ignored

Steps to Reproduce
