Just found this mod, but am at 1.3 as well. If it's any encouragement, I've heard great things and would love to try this out.

While I am, by no means, an authority, my guess is that the developer would rather work on his rebuild than update the old mod. The beauty of open source, though, is that if you would like a working 1.3 version you are welcome to dig into the code yourselves.

Thanks for the link, good to see there's a rebuild in the works. Not every superfan has the ability to contribute, though we can all cheer on the author.

Hey there!

First off, I'm so, so sorry that the mod hasn't been supported. I'm a full time dev with other responsibilities, so Telemachus/Houston have taken a back burner until things slow down a bit.

You're correct: my goal is to rewrite the mod's architecture. Doing that will make the mod much more usable, easier for folks to contribute to, and easier to add new features and integrations with other mods. I wrote a bit about this on Twitter:

I miss working on Telemachus and Houston greatly, and thank you all for your patience and understanding

I do hope with the rewrite we still keep the APIs, I love the idea of being able to have just the data sent to custom apps or maybe an arduino or raspberry pi for some 7 segment displays. It'd be great for people who are learning electronics to be able to build their own little cockpit to actually play a game with.

Would it be possible to just get the current version running with 1.3 1.4? Without the rewrite, just so it works?

Hi all, I have made an UNOFFICIAL release of this working for latest KSP (at the time of writing, KSP 1.4.3.2152)

I didn't test this much but it seems to work fine, I have put the release up here:
https://github.com/binary1230/Telemachus/releases/tag/1.4.32-UNOFFICIAL

dev info: I just did a recompile with no changes and it seems to be OK. please tag me if there are any issues.

@tcannonfodder if you like, maybe upload this on the official releases just so people can still use it while we await Houston?

P.S. anyone know the relationship of this project to https://github.com/njbrown09/Telemachus-Continued ?

Hello everyone! I think we should support Telemachus, while we await Houston. I created a repository, Telemachus Supporting Project for publishing recompiled versions of Telemachus. Everyone, who wants to continue Telemachus, Welcome!

P.S. Pull Requests are welcome.
