I translated your question to English because I don't know Persian 😄
What method do you suggest for array design?
Is there any software for designing a microphone array?
This is a deep topic that I am not an expert in.
Important things to take into account are
Do you have physical constraints for your application?
3D arrays can resolve all directions, but are more difficult to build. 2D arrays cannot distinguish between up and down, but that might be ok if placed on a table for example. 1D arrays can only resolve sources between 0-180 degrees, and there is a rotation ambiguity around the axis of the array.
The spacing between the microphones will determine the largest frequency without spatial aliasing.
These are just the basic considerations. I think there is a lot of literature that you may find on the topic for more details.
Thank you for your answer. I definitely want the array to be 2D and its diameter should be less than 60 cm. What kind of array do you recommend? Can I plot beam patterns in 3D with pyroomacoustics?
