Hi everyone,
I'm trying to apply fault tolerant control via Simulink to openFAST and ROSCO libraries and one block diagram I'm designing is to use available sensors in real world turbines, for example blade load sensors or proximity sensor on the main shaft to mitigate assymetric loads at the the main shaft or blade roots.
For this I need to derive the dynamic equation of the wind turbine with the DOFs I'm interested.
In this step I would like to know if there is a way of reading the bending of the main shaft or the bending of the blade roots individually per each axis.
I've seen the Rotor-furl axis DOF but didn't quite understand if this will support me in mensurating the bending on the main shaft.
