Effective immediately, development of swQolSuite is on indefinite hiatus.
Why?
With the Asset Modding update (v1.13.0), Stormworks also received a new EULA.
This EULA has an explicit anti reverse engineering and decompilation clause, and several other anti-modding clauses:
(section 5 only considers "mods" made with the official SDK)
This addition makes it clear that Geometa wants to kill non-official modding (eg. exe modding)
While there may be technicalities that could allow it, I don't want to worry about working in the gray area.
If this restriction is lifted in the future this mod may continue, but for now it is not feasible to continue development.
Existing builds created before the new EULA may continue to partially work in future versions, but the mod will not be updated to 1.13.0
Please be aware that even using swQolSuite may be against EULA now
In the past, Geometa has said they don't ban people other than cheating/piracy, but I believe the new EULA gives them cover to ban anyone using non-official mods
