playing a video in background

Hi, i want to play a video in the background of the song while it's playing the chart (something like carr song) but i can't make it work. When i use 'startVideo' it doesn't do anything, and when i try to replicate the bopeedo example it just freezes the song at the start.
Where should i put the function so it can play the video in the background?
I'm using the PE 1.0.1
