So I'm making a new Snazzle design and I will post updates in this issue and give feedback and stuff!

damn this is good, i was thinking of tweaking the colours to be less orange and easier on the eyes lol

hmm. i mean like this could be the default theme and then i could just make the diff colours for diff themes

so when this is done, we'll need people to implement it

i could do it and i'll ask @ajskateboarder if he wants to work on it as well. others can help too but i/we'll do a lot of the work

another thing: maybe add in a banner that shows up when your snazzle install is out of date

another another thing that's more related to implementation: we should add a way to a) auto-migrate themes to the new UI and b) allow users to switch back to the old one

i'll also add a label for issues relating to the new UI

hmm, manrope seems good but it doesn't blend well with the jost font itself. i guess if we could find a font that matches well with the jost font would be good for us.

i didn't get your point with the navbar, so could you please give an example of that?

also for the search bar, i assume you're talking about a expanding searchbar, like what scratch wiki has, but that is if you fit too much stuff on your navbar. usually, a non-interactive searchbar is fine unless you try and fit too much stuff onto there.

so when this is done, we'll need people to implement it

implementation should be a worry for the future i guess, since i haven't even finished the homepage of the snazzle website.

for update notifications, we could for every different page add a pop up notifcation on the bottom right corner which says update to latest version and it would be timed so after 10 seconds it would go away automatically.

for implementation of the new ui, we could first start by implementing it in the new version 0.3 and then force it onto the old versions default and allow them to switch back to the old one if they like.

sure, ui related issues seem pretty important as thats what the user sees.

I actually don't have Snazzle installed on my PC (also a reason why I've been pushing for a web version), and snazzle.davidtheplatform.eu.org isn't working, so I really don't know how the design looks. If you could send a screenshot of the current design, really appreciated.
