Q: I am trying to make a square instrument with what calls a "fixed arpeggio". On the first two ticks, it should play predefined pitches. On subsequent ticks, it should play the pitch from the note column of the pattern. How do I set this up? A: Kick drum mode is something that ISSOtm added to fO. See https://eldred.fr/fortISSimO/changes.html#absolute-subpatterns and https://eldred.fr/fortISSimO/hugetracker.html
