OS is Debian testing (Trixie), kernel 6.12.10, amd64. I'm using the packaged version: 1.2.0+ds2-4

To reproduce... turn some knobs in the application settings dialog, save to a new profile named telehack, then try to use it...

% cool-retro-term --profile telehack
Both point size and pixel size set. Using pixel size.
qml: Warning: selected profile is not valid; ignoring it

However, the profile is listed under the Profiles context menu, and switching to and from it seems to work just fine.

From a (very) quick scan of the code, I couldn't figure out where profiles are persisted.
