💡 Feature Request

Welcome to the Auctus Search feature request hub! 🎉

Hey there, before you jump in, take a quick sec to check out the
important stuff below—it’ll help us keep the magic flowing smoothly.

Important

Before you proceed, please confirm the following:

  • I’ve checked the API docs and confirmed this feature doesn’t already exist (no duplicates, please!).
  • I’ve scoured the existing issues to make sure this hasn’t been requested before.
  • I get that feature requests are reviewed periodically and might take a little time—patience is key!

Describe the Feature Request

Right now Auctus Search only enables to download CSV format file out of the Auctus query. However, this is erroneous because Auctus allows for more than that. Let's facilitate the download of more than CSV-based format files out of Auctus Search.

Describe Preferred Solution

What would be really interesting to investigate is (1) querying the formats available for a given selected dataset, and then shrinking to only those supported by the Auctus Search loader. (2) Second, we should present the available formats on the dataset's card so that consumers know what they may query. (3) When loading the specified dataset, we should include a parameter describing the format file output we want to download, ensuring that such format is (A) available based on the Auctus information received and (2) supported by the Auctus Search loader.
