Steam Deck doesn't reconnect to Bluetooth headphones after suspend #1702

Your system information

  • Steam client version: 1726683985
  • SteamOS version: 3.6.19
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: No
  • Opted into SteamOS beta?: No
  • Have you checked for updates in Settings > System?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

In SteamOS 3.5 my Steam Deck was automatically reconnecting to Bluetooth headphones (Sony WF-1000XM5). After updating to 3.6 this is no longer the case.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Connect Bluetooth headphones to Steam Deck
  2. Enter suspend
  3. Resume
  4. Steam Deck won't reconnect automatically to headphones
