Are there any plans to add support for PackageKit so that graphical app stores can interface with apx.

There is no "PackageKit-Api" as far as I know.

PackageKit has a set of backends for the most common package managers (apt, dnf, zypper .... ) and works with that.

Therefore, it would be needed to open an issue or pull request on the PackageKit repository.

@Durus-R Packagekit is an API that a package manager implements to be compatible with graphical app stores. You can check Packageskit's documentation here.

We have no more features planned for Vanilla OS Orchid, and since apx development follows Vanilla OS development, we can't put effort into this now. This is for sure something we can discuss for Vision, that is a new version we'll start after Orchid is released, that is not the next version but the one we'll use to experiment new features and, maybe, port to the next releases.

Now that orchid is released, do you think work can begin on apx enhancement?
