1. git config - To set email and username of the author.

2. git init - initalize a local repository

3. git status - gives information about the state of files in repository.

4. git add filename - To add any file to staged area.
   git add . - to add everthing in the staged area.

- git stash pop (bring back all the changes thats was stashed earlier)
- git stash clear (delete everything in from the stash)
