Auto Update on Runner Image to avoid Deprecation Error

Deployment Method

Helm (using Terraform)

To Reproduce

Install the gha-runner-scale-set-controller and gha-runner-scale-set
The latest tag is set on the template in use of the container

  spec:
    containers:
      - name: runner
        image: ghcr.io/actions/actions-runner:latest

Describe the bug

After one-two months the runner image stops working with an error like so:

An error occurred: Runner version 2.317.0 is deprecated and cannot receive messages.

Describe the expected behavior

I was expecting the runner to auto-update since no options like the image pull policy are set incorrectly

Additional Context

If I uninstall and install the helm release of the gha-runner-scale-set the runner gets the latest image and the issue no longer occurs.
