Background/Icon Images not getting set

Describe the problem

What is the proper path mapping for background images/home icons? I have tried /app/public/* and /public/data/*

The files are in the docker container and get loaded from the host. However I cannot seem to get the background or icons set from these files in the app. Documentation is not clear on how this is done in the new version post v1.0.

Let me know what I'm missing please.
