Page routing for maps is hacked

is this a dupe of #48? can you shed some light on what's supposed to happen here?

@ghostrocket no it's not a dupe. I just updated the text in #48 so it's clearer. I think I needed to hack the routes b/c the previous version of rails for the project was ancient, but after the recent upgrade I think these hacked routes can probably be removed.
