my metube work is normal without logging in and using vps as a proxy |
I just started getting the same error. The download fails and when checking the logs it wants you to sign in but we have no option to. |
This i why i came here to see if their would be already a solution, looks like not yet |
This is YouTube’s form of IP blocking you. The solution is to log in using browser cookies |
I tried to use the Chrome plugin to get the cookies and configure the Docker container parameters, but it didn't work,it seems like the cookie is not recognized |
I guess all good things must come to an end.
Youtube now blocks ALL downloads from third party by requiring log in, you can't even watch Youtube through proxy nomore. Greedy Google and ther dirty hands is everywhere.
Error message when adding a URL from Youtube:
"Error adding URL: ERROR: [youtube] rPeDCs2xsRw: Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot. This helps protect our community. Learn more"
