https://amaranth-lang.org/docs/amaranth/latest/start.html points to the documentation of the (latest) development version. Currently this is 0.6.0.dev77. The latest released version currently is 0.5.4, and that does not have Period. So you either need to update amaranth, or you can look at the documentation for the version that you are actually using. For example for 0.5.4 this would be https://amaranth-lang.org/docs/amaranth/v0.5.4/
