Executor reports task instance finished (failed) although the task says it's queued

Sometimes our dags randomly failed with log:

[2024-04-01, 00:00:01 UTC] {scheduler_job_runner.py:781} ERROR - Executor reports task instance <TaskInstance: some_dag_id.some_dag_id scheduled__2024-03-31T00:00:00+00:00 [queued]> finished (failed) although the task says it's queued. (Info: None) Was the task killed externally?

Hello @Pooort! Were you able to resolve the issue? I am facing exactly same error when I try to trigger a dag using TriggerDagRunOperator.

Hi, @tirthshah17! In our case it was memory leak which wasn't related to airflow itself.
