unable to create app using Grails 7

This is not the case with previous versions of Grails. what was changed here.

@jamesfredley is currently reworking the profile publish as part of the prep for M2. This error may be transitory while this work is being done.

This was resolved on the 7.0.0-SNAPSHOT on Dec 31, 2024: #14002 and will be included in grails:7.0.0-M2 very soon.
