API Logic

Can someone explain to me how this API works? For instance when I write

user_videos = api.getTrending(count=10)
for item in user_videos["items"]:

print(item["author"]["uniqueId"])

It bring me these users:

softx_nisax
mido_belal
united.emirates
mukremingezgin
sandikcireisi
sahermonther

But everytime I run the code the output is changing. So what I am getting? Are these the most engaged users at that moment? How can I see the most viewed videos or users in a certain time period?

And also which region is API getting these? Is it automatically get from our location? If not how can we specify it?
