Dear Amazon SageMaker Studio Lab Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to inform you that I have been approved for the Amazon SageMaker Studio Lab account application and can log in smoothly. However, I encountered an issue when trying to enter the start the runtime environment using the GPU option.

When prompted to verify my mobile number, I entered the correct number in E.164 format and selected the correct region (Jordan +962). Despite this, I did not receive the verification code. I ensured that my mobile number was not a VoIP or landline number, waited a few minutes, and tried again, but the code still had not been delivered.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Thank you for your help.

I can't help but think this is because I'm in a third-world country, where it seems AWS couldn't care less about those of us eager to learn.
I wonder if the same issue would have been treated differently if it had been raised by someone from the US or Western Europe—I'd bet AWS would have jumped to resolve it in no time. Funny how that works, isn't it?
But hey, this comment probably won’t last long for others to see; I wouldn’t be surprised if AWS sensors it and reports it.

I am having the same issue as well, but using a UK (+44) number. I filled in the form above by @MicheleMonclova about a week ago but i haven't received any response. Any help?

Warning: This message from this user @MicheleMonclova seems suspicious, and the link might be a phishing attempt. It's asking for sensitive information like usernames and mobile numbers, which is a red flag. Additionally, you mentioned you filled out the form over a week ago with no response, which makes this even more concerning.

If AWS wants us to fill out a form, it should be added to the support area within the platform, not through an external link.

Be cautious and verify this is a legitimate request from AWS before sharing any personal information.
Stay safe!
