qcli 1.3.1 Sierra, Ventura, and Sonoma Testing #843
Comments
Also with 1.3.20241130? |
Just tested it and getting the same results on Sierra 10.12.6 with 1.3.20241130. |
Since we switched to Qt6, it is normal for the snapshot binaries to launch only on macOS 11 and later. |
@g-maxime the website still indicates macOS 10.9, we need to change that. |
Hi @dashbwilliams, could you retest with this snapshot. |
Couple of issues found with qcli 1.3.1:
On macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (which should be supported) I get the following error:
dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/ColorSync.framework/Versions/A/ColorSync
From what I could research, it looks like this was a framework added in High Sierra.
And though they're not officially supported, while trying this on Ventura 13.6.7 and Sonoma 14.5, I get the following error:
Segmentation fault: 11
Out of curiosity, I tried the latest qcli snapshot 1.3.20241130, and though I was able to get that to work on Ventura 13.6.7, I noticed that the loading bar in the Terminal window was not working. I could see the Disk Activity in Activity Monitor was chugging away at reading the file, but the Terminal window only updated until after the whole file was read.
Our company is planning on upgrading the rest of our systems (hence the Sierra computer), so any update on full Ventura or Sonoma compatibility would be super helpful. Thank you!
