Settings with primitive values fail on being pushed to BlueOS

This is happening on master for all variables that have primitive values, like cockpit-has-seen-tutorial, cockpit-jitter-buffer-target and others.
Objects are being synced normally.
It looks like the bag-of-holdings API is not accepting anything besides a JSON.

Tested with a just-reset Cockpit settings.

Ok, there's something else going on. The requests with primitives are fine and the error is intermittent. Will investigate more.
