This is a slightly silly question about BSC but one essential to crypto project. CZ made this quote in 2021 following the SQUID crypto currency scam:
"“I can confirm we are taking the following actions: working to identify and blacklist address affiliated with the developers"

The SQUID token "rose from the ashes" after and the scammers never rugged a second time.
I was reviewing code to see if it was even technically feasible to implement a blacklist function. I would think something like this would need to be implemented on the validator side. However I could find no such code unless Binance somehow had backdoor to implement this on their validators.
What are people thoughts on CZ saying that developer addresses are blacklisted on BSC? Is this even technically feasible?
The fate of the original Squid token is at stake. Members of community says that original contract is not safe and attempting migration to new contract.
I feel silly even asking this question here but Git BSC community would be the ultimate experts on this topic.
