As we do so, i can't start the script because i have to give the images via js. It would be nice if i can give over a element containing images, which will be used for the slideshow. I include my js in footer so i can't do the fancy inline script stuff you did.

Now you can read in the slides from the dom by a jQuery selector in
options named slide_container. see demo_slide_container.html ... this
post fixed th issue (buildinternet#177) i opend
