Tilde char (~) wrongly rendered #24

Tilde char is being placed at the top of the line, but should be at the middle of the line, as a normal char.

I'm not sure if this is fixable, also... the tilde in rendered on vertically centered when it is inside a mathematical environment in LaTeX... I don't think we'll be able to convince pygments to treat it as so.

Suggestions?
