Compared with an alternative extension (with On reddit disabled):

Preparing to report this issue:

1. I found Always erroring #3
2. I disabled tracking protection for the site and re-enabled On reddit
3. the toolbar icon appeared without 'Err'

5. I disabled the alternative extension and reloaded the affected page,

Nothing here

– and 'Err'.

Maybe not exact steps (maybe not reproducible) but that's the essence of the issue.

Maybe a duplicate of #3 but strictly speaking, in my case the errors are not always.

Waterfox ~56.2.7.1 on FreeBSD-CURRENT.

Thanks, I'm currently rewriting the addon and should find a solution for this problem. I'll keep this open and inform you when it's done...
