EditInPlace: On click not working over ellipsis

I'm using the EditInPlace component in my project and I've noticed a minor usability issue. When I click on a particular area of the component, it doesn't seem to be working. I've attached a recording of the issue for reference.
It looks like the issue is with the hidden ellipsis icon.
