Not really.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great if gum file allow typing and filtering like in gum filter too. It would increase ergonomics if file chose.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Use other tool like fzf for that case. This breaks consistent TUI looking.

Additional context
If file is not in same directory and directories are large it not so easy to navigate.
