Please excuse my ignorance on this topic.

When Magisk indicates a new version of Play Integrity Fix is available, what is the correct update sequence?

For example, I just noticed 18.6 was available, so I did the following:

  • Used Magisk to install the updated module
  • Clicked the "Reboot" button, as prompted to do by Magisk
  • Completed the following steps, per prior Play Integrity Fix documentation:
    • Clear Google Wallet cache ("if you have it").
    • Clear Google Play Store cache and data.
    • Clear Google Play Services (com.google.android.gms) cache and data ("Optionally skip clearing data and wait some time, ~24h, for it to resolve on its own").
  • Went back into Magisk and clicked Play Integrity Fix's "Action" button
  • Ran the following command as root: sed -i 's/"spoofVendingSdk": 0/"spoofVendingSdk": 1/' /data/adb/modules/playintegrityfix/pif.json

Did I get that right? I'm not even sure what the "Action" button does, I just noticed it appeared at some point after an update. Any guidance would be massively appreciated.
