Keyboard arrows do not work

Im hosting in localhost on an ubuntu server and accesing it by local port forwarding via ssh.

I access the code-server webpage with a lenovo tablet m11 doing the local port forwarding with Termux and writing with a bluetooth keyboard.

The keyboard and the arrows work well in all other apps but in the server they just start doing weird things like inputing the word the cursor is in twice or just not moving and getting stuck in a highlighted word.
Its so weird, I tried stoping ublock and disabling keyboard options like autocomplete and stuff but nothing worked.

I might try doing forwarding in my router instead of with ssh just to try.

I have seen others report tablet issues, if you can reproduce with Codespaces we could report it upstream to Microsoft, they might have a better idea of what is going on.

Im not sure how can I reproduce my whole system with hardware in codespaces. The best I can do is give all software and hardware info with a video showing how it works. I will also borrow another bluetooth keyboard to check if the problem is with the one I have but I dont think so because it works perfect in all other situations.

The keyboard issues are likely client-side, so no need to reproduce your whole system. We just want to find out if the keyboard issues reproduce in a blank Codespaces project, because if they do it means the problem is in VS Code (and not code-server) which means we can report it at https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues.

I just tested it in codespaces and fails in the same way that with codeserver. What should I attach to the issue so it gets processed?. I'm currently using the same keyboard to write this and it worksfine. I think is a bug with highlighting words that messes the cursor up.

Thank you for testing! When you open a bug report on VS Code, they have a template which will have all the questions they want answered.

Thanks, I even tested with the digital keyboard and fails in the same way, I will write my report now.
