Having assets in subfolders inside the Uploads folder and synced everything with the db by using Utilities --> Asset Indexes --> Update asset indexes there seems to be no way to import/use these images in an entries feed on FeedMe.
This is the uploads folder:
uploads
volume-folder
subfolder
imagefile.svg
I'd like to assign images to an asset field (pointing at a volume that uses volume-folder and subfolders allowed in the assets field) from this feed json:
But when doing this nothing happens. The image is known by the database (at least it looks like it), but not assigned to the field. It does work when not using subfolders, but not with subfolders. I also tried mirroring and escaping the slashing, but that didn't do the trick either.
Please make it possible to import files from subfolders as with hundreds of files to import and lots of subfolders and subfolders inside subfolders we can't create volumes for every folder.
Thanks in advance!
[edit] With a little help by @michaelroper on Discord there is a way to do this; When using an absolute URL with the full path to the file, instead of a relative one from the volume-folder... and switch on 'Create asset from URL, if exists: 'Use existing asset'' in the assetfield in FeedMe, the subfolders are assigned as expected. Still it would be welcome to be able to do this with relative paths from a volume for obvious reasons, as that also works with paths without a subfolder. But for now I'm very glad there is a workaround that works!!
