Describe the bug
Custom emotes from another channel carry over to another channel in the emote menu as broken or missing files. The emotes don’t work when carrying over, they instead show emotes that a streamer doesn’t have. My guess is MixrElixr thinks you’re still in the first channel you visited, even though you’ve moved onto another (specifically for the emote menu)
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to mixer.com/ninja for example and wait a second for elixr to load up all info
Then, click onto the following tab or Mixer main page button
Then in the following tab select anyone else’s channel, in this case I searched and found mixer.com/thelastmage, but any will do as long as you do not manually type in the URL in the browser
check the MixrElixr emote menu, you will see this. Clicking any of those images fills in emote codes from other channels
5. refreshing fixes the issue
Expected behavior
Instead, it’s supposed to forget the last streamer visited, and load up new streamer’s custom emotes. Screenshots
See above you goof. Environment (please complete the following information):
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Browser: Chrome 78
MixrElixr Version: 2.9.2
