I like the choice of Google and Edge browsers where I cannot see content unless I scroll down. This helps me stay focused on my task when I pop open a browser. Being greeted with lots of content when using the daily.dev extension is distracting and somewhat annoying, especially if I'm sharing my screen at work.

Can you share a screenshot of what you expect?

Sure, so this is Microsoft Edge's display with the setting toggled on. You can see headings for different categories listed at the bottom, but overall screen is largely blank and distraction-free.

And you can see here in the FeedLayout button that they have three distinct views in the "Feed Layout" modal. I choose the most minimal view, which is highlighted in blue:

Thanks! Have you considered using our webapp instead of the new tab extension?

I have considered it, but I like the extension for replacing my browser's homepage and bringing quick access to newsfeeds more in line with my interest.

I also know that if I just bookmarked the webapp I wouldn't use it as much. I already have a habit of scrolling down to view the MS Edge newsfeed -> BUT their controls for the newsfeed isn't as good, so I still get a lot of political news and celebrity gossip, despite tailoring it to AI and tech news and specifically clicking on every tech story I can in an attempt to force the algorithm to bring more of that to me.
