This solution works better then Memcached, or using the standard caching module in a ramdisk?

I really don't know, I didn't do any benchmark.
I choose redis for the storage for 2 reasons :

  • datas are in ram with the persistance you want (redis config)
  • to cache headers and body in only one key (I'm not sure that the standard caching module cache headers)
Also, redis has more features than memcached.

This project is experimental, not used in production.
I will publish results of AB tests later.
